The Mercedes-Benz company has roots as far back as the 1880s, and is the oldest automotive group in the world. Part of its longevity is due to its reputation for quality. In recent years, Mercedes cars have won many awards for durability, quality and safety.

The A-Class is a range of mini MPVs, perfect for families, due to its storage space and compact size. It also has many safety features such as extra airbags and head and neck restraints in the front seats. This car is the right size for the daily needs of a couple or family.

A B-Class Mercedes car is people carrier which is essentially a slightly larger version of the A-Class. Its height means that its storage volume is large, whilst retaining a relatively small footprint.

If you need a more robust vehicle, the G-Class is an off road, four wheel drive model. Designed to be durable, the German army used an older design of this car in the 1970s!

As well as being functional, Mercedes cars can be outlandish and fun. The incredibly sporty SLS-AMG, with gullwing doors, features in Gran Turismo 5, and was used as the safety car during the 2010 Formula One.

Mercedes cars are well known for their safety and high status. There are a range of car types manufactured by Mercedes-Benz, so owning a practical car for day to day use is certainly possible.
